What It Is
At Betano, we want you to stay informed about everything that happens with your account. That’s why we’ve enabled a feature that notifies you whenever your password is changed.
This applies whether you made the change yourself (for example, after a reset or update) or if someone else — without authorization — did so.
What It’s For
The alert lets you know immediately if your password has been changed. If it wasn’t you, you can take quick action to protect your account and prevent unauthorized access. If the change was made by you, there’s nothing else you need to do.
Why It’s Important
Detecting a change in time is essential to protecting your account. Instant notifications help identify suspicious activity before it becomes a problem.
How You’ll Receive the Alert
You’ll receive an email from Betano confirming that your password has been changed.
The email includes details about the change.
If you did not make the change, it will also provide instructions on how to reset your password.
Important:
Before taking any action, make sure the email was sent from Betano’s official address (noreply@betano.pt) to ensure it’s a legitimate message and not a phishing attempt.
