3D Secure Verification is a mandatory additional security layer for credit or debit card transactions, designed to protect you against the unauthorized use of your card.
How It Works
When submitting your deposit, your bank will require this verification. The process usually occurs in a pop-up window outside the Betano platform and may ask you to do one of the following:
Security Code: Enter a temporary code sent to you via SMS, email, or phone call.
In-App Confirmation: Approve the payment directly through your bank's mobile application (App).
It is essential that you complete this security verification in the pop-up for your payment to be successfully processed. If verification is not completed, the deposit will be declined by your bank.
What to Do in Case of an Error?
Incorrect Details: Ensure your contact details registered with the bank (mobile/email) are up-to-date to receive the code.
Blocked Pop-up: Check if your browser is blocking pop-up windows.
Contact Your Bank: If the issue persists, please contact your bank, as 3D Secure failure is often a security or card configuration matter.
