Golden Sub is a feature that protects your bet in player markets. If the player you selected is substituted before meeting the bet condition, your bet will automatically transfer to the player who comes on as a replacement, keeping the same odds.
How to identify it: look for the icon of a circle with two arrows (one pointing up and one pointing down) in player markets or in promotional banners within the “Player” or “Lineups” tabs.
How it works:
- Automatic Transfer: the bet moves to the substitute as soon as they officially enter the pitch.
- Statistics Carry-Over: the new player inherits what the original player had already achieved (e.g., shots on target) and must complete the original condition for the bet to be settled as a winner.

Multiple Substitutions: if the substitute is also replaced, the bet continues to transfer to the next player who comes on.
Practical Examples
- Goals Market: you bet that "Player A" would score a goal. He comes off without scoring and "Player B" comes on. If Player B scores, your bet wins.
- Accumulated Statistics: you bet on "2+ shots on target" for "Player A". He has 1 shot on target and is substituted. If the substitute gets 1 more shot on target, your bet is a winner.
Rules and Conditions
- Where it applies: single bets, multiple (accumulator) bets, and combo bets on selected football matches.
- Match time: valid only for the 90 regular minutes (including stoppage time). Does not apply to extra time or penalty shootouts.
- Bet timing: applies to both Pre-Match and Live bets.
- Official data: substitutes are identified by the official provider Opta and will appear on your bet slip.
When it does NOT apply:
- If the bet outcome has already been determined before the substitution.
- If the bet was automatically settled before the substitution.
- If the selected player is not substituted.
- The “Substitution before half-time” offer cannot be combined with this feature.
